Used together players will experience an extensive array of fun, dynamic and surprisingly challenging activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and balance oriented games. The Wii Fit Balance Board
The primary tenet of Wii Fit is balance. Your center of balance, the point between your left and right sides when you stand upright, has a lot to do with your health. Those without an even center of balance will be unnaturally compensating for this imbalance, which causes their posture to become misaligned, increasing the possibility of putting unnecessary strain on their bodies. This is where the Wii Balance Board comes in.

Similar in appearance to a step aerobics board, the Wii Balance Board is much, much more. Easily capable of supporting weights up to a maximum of 300 pounds, it is sturdy and precise, able to measure weight and register pressure accurately when placed on a variety of flat surfaces. This advanced level of sensitivity allows for both the wide range of activities found in the Wii Fit software as well as the board's amazing ability recognize individual players by their weight alone.

Getting Started: Create a Profile
Before you jump into doing exercises and activities, you’ll start by creating a profile. This is done easily and intuitively by simply choosing a Mii, entering your height and age information, and doing a few quick tests that will serve as a baseline for your new Wii fitness regimen. These tests are:

  • BMI Check: BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that is the standard used by agencies such as the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health. To check your BMI, you’ll enter your height then stand on the Wii Balance Board and let it read your weight.
  • Wii Fit Age: After you’ve checked your BMI, you’ll do a basic balance test and find out your current Wii Fit Age. This basic balance test measures how well you can control your left and right balance. Based on the results, you’ll be assigned a Wii Fit Age.

Four Categories of Fun
Once you have created your profile it's time to have some fun. Wii Fit features four main categories of exercises to choose from: Strength Training, Aerobics, Yoga and Balance Games. Wii Fit will guide you through the first three with the help of your own virtual personal trainer, while the balance games offer variety and fun to help keep you engaged and excited about your fitness goals. In addition, as you spend time exercising, you’ll earn Fit Credits that unlock additional exercises and activities within your favorite categories that will allow you to continue to push yourself. See more detail on the four categories below:

  • Strength Training: Put your strength to the test with muscle-toning exercises like Single Leg Extension, Sideways Leg Lift, Arm and Leg Lift, Single-Arm Stand, Torso Twists, Rowing Squat, Single Leg Twist, Lunge, Push-Up and Side Plank, Jackknife, Plank and Tricep Extension. Challenges include Push-Up Challenge, Plank Challenge and Jackknife Challenge.
  • Aerobics: Get your heart pumping with fun, interactive Aerobic exercises like Hula Hoop, Basic Step, Basic Run, Super Hula Hoop, Advanced Step, 2-P Run, Rhythm Boxing, Free Step and Free Run.
  • Yoga: Work on your balance and flexibility with Yoga poses and activities like Deep Breathing, Half-Moon, Dance, Cobra, Bridge, Spinal Twist, Shoulder Stand, Warrior, Tree, Sun Salutation, Standing Knee, Palm Tree, Chair, Triangle and Downward-Facing Dog.
  • Balance Games: Get into the action with fun, balanced-based games like Soccer Heading, Ski Slalom, Ski Jump, Table Tilt, Tightrope Walk, Balance Bubble, Penguin Slide, Snowboard Slalom and Lotus Focus.

Keep Track of Your Progress
Because keeping fit is an ongoing process, Wii Fit also tracks the activities you do the most and puts them into your Favorites category. With this information players can note exercises and activities that they are strong in, as well as others that may need to improve at. Some of the ways players can use this information for are to:

  • Keep tabs on your daily progress with easy-to-understand graphs and charts. Using your personal profile, you can set goals, view a graph of your BMI results over time, see how many Fit Credits you’ve earned, check your Wii Fit Age and even enter exercise time you’ve done outside of Wii Fit. It’s all about coming back and exercising a little every day, and the personal profile makes tracking your daily progress simple and easy.
  • Quickly check your Wii Fit Age and BMI without even putting the game in the console by going directly to the Wii Fit Channel.
  • Allow up to eight family members can create their own profiles in Wii Fit. On the profile-selection screen, everyone in the family can see each other’s recent BMI progress and Fit Credit total. This will allow families to have a friendly competition to exercise and get fit.
Variety, fun and progress tracking; Wii Fit has it all. So, Wii owners if you ready to reclaim your balance and get fit all you need is Wii Fit, a few minutes a day to play and the urge to have fun. Get on board today.

wii fit
I ordered this for my daughter and I work on it with her sometimes it makes exercise fun and itis very family oriented. Worth the money and very easy to use. Will purchase like products in the future.

Over 50 and Love This Workout!
I'm 50 years and old and thin. I never had to work out, but after seeing some of my body parts getting squishy, I decided it was time to firm up. The Wii Fit was an excellent choice for me. I never realized how unbalanced I was and how terrible my posture was until I started using this. I also went out and purchased the Personal Coach. Unfortuanately, this one is much too advanced for me right now, but my goal is to eventually do all the workouts the game offers. What a great way to get in shape!! I love it.

WII FIT
THIS IS AN AMAZING WAY TO WORK OUT BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE TRIED BEFORE

What's All the Hype About?
Wii Fit is pretty cool, and I think you should read some of the five-star and four-star reviews to get what I'm talking about here. When I saw the first commercial of Wii Fit, I did not expect there to be so much hype-it's like the next generation of Dance Dance Revolution. I do think it's pretty pricey, yet I didn't expect it to be that good. I read a one-star review with something about a carpet? That really sucks for them, but if you have a carpet and want to play, don't take that as a hazard. I have a carpet and the balance board works just fine on the carpet. If it's a really fluffy carpet (and I mean sink your feet in it fluffy), then yeah, maybe you shouldn't risk it. But it would be sort of weird saying you own a Wii, but don't have Wii Fit. After watching a parody, I expected it to be more boring than it was (watch it on YouTube). The parody was VERY funny, so I made fun of it a lot. But it's actually pretty fun. Even if you don't want to get fit (like me, I'm a teenage girl and healthy according to the Wii Fit so I don't really care) the yoga and strength exercises are really fun. Some of them are really hard, but on one I earned the name 'Body Builder', and on another one 'Yoga Trainer'. The trainers are also really nice. The games are kind of boring, soccer's way too hard for me, but the stepping game is pretty fun. I really recommend getting it, even if you're a hardcore video gamer that doesn't prefer the video games in which you have to move, like me (although I enjoy boxing, golf, bowling, and baseball). If you think it's a bit pricey, I can't blame you, it IS kind of pricey. But it's still (almost) as good as Guitar Hero/Rock Band, so it's a LITTLE reasonable.

Musicians in your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart's content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. Gameplay: Getting Your Band Together
In Wii Music every band has six members: Two play the main melody, two cover the percussion beats, one covers the bass groove and one uses the song's chords to support the melody. As a band, the six members often play their special parts at the same time, though each player can jam however and whenever he or she wants. Play all at once. Take turns in the spotlight. Pair up in creative ways throughout the song. You can bring the band to life by yourself, playing one part at a time-or with up to four players. See game mode below:
  • Solo Play: When you play by yourself, you can add one part at a time to arrange the whole song exactly how you want. The Tutes are on hand to back up your band in any parts you need filled.
  • Multiplayer: When in a band with friends, up to four people can be band members.
  • Wii Friends: Using WiiConnect24, you can send your jam videos to Wii Friends who own Wii Music. They can then watch your performance, modify it to their liking and send their jam videos back to you.
Tutes: Your Own Private Back-up Band
When not playing with friends, you can invite jam masters known as Tutes to play with you. They'll join a session playing an instrument that each thinks is strong for a specific song. You can simply enjoy the musical camaraderie, or pick up instrument tips by watching them jam. If you choose to watch, the Tutes will show you lots of techniques for many of these instruments, then ask you to follow their examples. They'll start with the simplest techniques, then as you master each one, show you even more nuanced ones.

Key Game Features:

  • Easy to Play Improv Jams - All members of your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart's content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. Wii Music challenges you to transform your improv stylings into great music. There are no mistakes and no game scores-just playing for the pure joy of playing.
  • Wii Controls Immerse You in the Music - You can play most of the 60-plus instruments in Wii Music using simple motions with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Strum to play guitar, banjo and sitar. Drum to play jazz drums, congas and snare drums. Hammer away to play piano, vibraphone and marimba. Unlike most music games, Wii Music doesn't make you use many complex buttons. You only need to imitate playing the instrument.
  • Virtually Endless Ways to Make Music - You choose the song and instruments and decide whether to blaze through a rock take on classical songs, put a jazzy spin on folk tunes or transform Nintendo classics like the Super Mario Bros. theme into Latin-flavored numbers. The song list is only a takeoff point-it's how you improvise with the songs that matters.
  • Share Your Band Jams With Friends - They'll see your Mii band members, your players' improv styles and your instrument selections. They can watch your recordings, or play over parts of your song, then send their modified recording back to you. So you can send improv jams back and forth over WiiConnect24, changing them again and again.
60+ Instruments
You can play most of the 60-plus instruments in Wii Music using simple motions with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Strum to play guitar, banjo and sitar. Drum to play jazz drums, congas and marching drums. Hammer away to play piano, vibraphone and marimba. Unlike most music games, Wii Music doesn't make you use complex buttons. You only need to imitate playing the instrument. Wii Music offers virtually endless ways to make music.

Fun Beyond the Jam
Designed with classic Wii gameplay in mind, Wii Music includes many other modes and play options besides the main band jams, including several musical games and an enhanced video playback mode for recorded jams.

  • Videos Mode: Watch your jam videos in an enhanced playback mode that brings your jams to life with fun environmental effects and dramatic camera angles.
  • Mii Maestro: By waving the Wii Remote like a conductor's baton in this mini-game, you'll lead a Mii orchestra through orchestrated songs, such as The Legend of Zelda theme. Make them play quickly, slowly, strongly or gently-the orchestra is at your command.
  • Handbell Harmony: In this musical mini-game, you'll play in a handbell ensemble by swinging your Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Everyone on the team has a job to do: play one of your notes only when the tune demands it.
  • Pitch Perfect: How good is your musical ear? In this whimsical musical quiz, you'll have to solve challenges, like putting note-playing Miis in order from lowest to highest pitch.
  • Drum Mode: In the one mode that uses the Wii Balance Board accessory (sold with Wii Fit), you can feel what it's like to play a real-life drum set. You'll use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk as drumsticks, and place both feet on the Wii Balance Board-which work as virtual pedals for the bass drum and hi-hat cymbal.

Great for kids!
I originally got this game without knowing how simplistic it was. I, personally, would have liked something a bit more difficult. I'm not going to rehash what's said in a lot of the other reviews about game play, etc.

What really struck me is how great it has been for my nephew. He's 5-years-old and has Downs. After playing a few times, he does it on his own and knows which instruments he has to strum and which he has to push buttons to blow horns. Its been fun for him and I think beneficial for his motor skills. He especially loves the dog suit, cat suit, and cheerleader instruments. He goes crazy with the dancing around. Rock on little man!

My Family loves it
Like a said in title my family loves it!! I wish there where more songs to chose from and maybe it is we just haven't opened them yet.

Worst Wii game we have
We have a little over a dozen Wii games, and this is by far the worst of them all (had it since December 2008). It is absolutely no fun and there is no challenge to it at all. We've have folks ranging from 4 through 40 paly it and they all agree. The song selection seems rather limited too. I was really hoping this would be a family-friendly, easy to store alternative to guitar hero or rock band, but I was wrong. Very, very disappointed! I gave it 1 star for both "fun" and "overall," though it appears I miss clicked and the review form took it as a 2 star for fun.

Mildly interesting but not sufficient to justify paying for the software
This should be freeware or at least available via WiiWare for less than 1000 points. It is really simplistic and Kindergartners would probably really enjoy it. Controls not consistently responsive. I bought this today and am already very bored with it.

extremely disappointed
We are a musical family and were looking forward to wii music.
After just a few times using this, my 11 year old is already saying that there isn't much to do. The conducting part is cute but it gets old fast. During the jams, it is hard to hear yourself if you are the harmony. Basically, you work with the beat. You can't change or affect the notes. Everytime you flick your wimote, you get a predetermined note. The bell part is a little like guitar hero..but it confusing and difficult.

After only 3 or 4 times with this, my kids don't want to use it anymore...
money wasted..

sorry..

Creative and FUN for the whole family. Create and share!
The creativity in this game never ceases! I am sure there are endless opportunities to create, play and explore and those are the included levels alone. What I enjoy most out of this game is the ability to create and share with other players. There are some very creative and fun levels out there and I'm sure I'll make something of my own too! It's not too hard to make your own creations either because the you learn as you play the game. By the time you went through a couple stages, you will already have in mind how to build some of those neat contraptions that you have seen. This is great fun with the kids too, I enjoy racing them on some stages but there is still lots of teamwork too!

LBP
An entertaining game that will not only be fun but challenging as well, and if you are the creative sort than this game will keep you coming back for more!

Amazing game worth every penny
This is by far the most advanced, unique and creative game you can buy. You'll never see another game that comes close. Best of all, you can create your own levels and play levels that other people have created which is so amazing. Whether you're 5 or 50, this game is fun for everyone and has endless replay value.

Random fun
My kids love this game. They're laughing constantly when they play it. To me it seems pretty pointless, but I think maybe that's kind of the whole point. It's a bit like Rayman Raving Rabbids meets Mario meets a roomful of sugar-charged pre-teens having a random-giggle attack.
Be warned: kids under about 8 years old might have some trouble with the interface. There are an awful lot of options and possibilities with this game that could easily overwhelm someone expecting a straightforward arcade-style game. The editing capabilities are impressive ... idiotic and silly, yes, but impressive.
The price tag seems pretty spendy for such a frivolous game, but I guess it's still cheap fun for the hours my kids play this game.

Great fun for both kids and adults!
I bought this game first because of the price and second because of the hype surrounding it. It is a unique spin on the 2d experience and very appealing to the eyes. I have two younger daughters that enjoy watching me play, but it is still a bit out of their comprehension for controlling. Great game and I look forward to future titles from this franchise!

The Force is Strong With...Multiplayer?
Lego Star Wars is host to a multitude of small but cumulatively frustrating flaws: studs (the in-game currency) disappear too quickly to collect everything you scare up; the concept of depth is almost non-existent in some important jumping sections; vehicle controls are unforgivably loose; mission objectives are sometimes ill-defined. Even the insistent flashing of highlighted text on menus seems designed to annoy. Playing the game alone, the best you could say is that it represents an entertaining idea ("Legos plus Star Wars? How can we lose!?") hindered by poor execution.

Get a like-minded friend to pick up the second controller, though, and it's a different game. The length of time studs appear seems calibrated to multiplayer--two people working in tandem can usually collect everything before it flickers away. And a human companion is vastly superior to the single-player mode's brain-dead A.I. allies. Multiplayer has its own quirks; for example, friendly fire is always on and the auto-targeting feature likes to aim at your companion as often as the enemy, and multiplayer turns the already recalcitrant camera into one that almost gleefully obtructs your point of view. But having a second human player not only to strategize, but to laugh at the game's absurdities, lightens the mood considerably. So much so, in fact, that a game that's hard to recommend for one player could be a must-have for two.

~

Great Game!
Game is a lot of fun, shipping was quick and efficient and the game was in great condition. No scratches and the package even had the instruction manual!

sounds great, but...
this game sounds great and all being you play through all 6 story lines, but its Lego!its goofy and sloppy and looks ridiculous! i mean why cant they make the same type of game with all 6 stories as a regular realistic type video game? that would be f-ing sweet!

Fun For All
With a cartooninsh twist, this game will satisfy any young star wars fan. All movie plots 1-6 are included in this super fun game. I had great fun running through the Mos Eisley Cantina crowd, into the Hoth war zone, then back through the Cantina into a pod-racer race. This game really allowed me to fully enjoy the Star Wars universe without the dark undertones that woked great for the movies, though with a Lego video game it wouldn't work. I hope that the force will guide all of you to this great and exciting game!

Fun game with many levels
I bought this game for my 8 yr old son and he loves it. he got a bit bored with the Light Saber duelling game in a short time. The Lego game has a bunch of levels and you can buy characters, speeders, etc. If you are a teenager or older, it may be a little juvenile for you but for younger kids it is perfect.

Mario Kart DS offers two different options for LAN Wireless game play: DS Download Play, in which only one player has Mario Kart DS and all players have Nintendo DS systems, and Multi-Card Play, in which all players have Mario Kart DS and Nintendo DS systems.

DS Download Play
As with all DS Download multiplayer games, the DS Download Play in Mario Kart DS requires that only one player has a copy of the game. Unlike past DS games, however, DS Download Play in Mario Kart DS allows multiple players who have the game card to play with multiple players who do not have the game card. DS Download Play offers the following features:

  • 2-8 player simultaneous wireless game play.
  • A choice of multiplayer racing, Balloon Battle, or Shine Runner modes.
  • Players who own Mario Kart DS can choose their own characters and use personalized icons, while players who do not own Mario Kart DS must play as Shy Guy and cannot use personalized player icons.
  • Track selection is limited to eight tracks for racing and three arenas for Balloon Battle and Shine Runner modes.
  • DS Download Play is limited to the 100 cc engine class
Multi-Card Play
Multi-Card Play requires all players to have their own copies of Mario Kart DS, giving players more options, modes and tracks to choose from. Multi-Card Play offers the following features:
  • 2-8 player simultaneous wireless game play.
  • Your choice of multiplayer racing, Balloon Battle, or Shine Runner modes.
  • Players can choose from different engine classes.
  • No limits on character choice.
  • No limits on track choice.
  • Player's win/loss ratio is saved and tracked.
  • Players who race locally are automatically added to each other's friend roster and then can race via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
  • Players can trade ghost data wirelessly, allowing them to race against each others' best times.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection:
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is a free online game-play service provided by Nintendo to Nintendo DS owners. It offers seamless access to online game play and an environment that is welcoming to gamers of all skill levels. Features include: Whether it's the updated graphics that retain the side-scrolling feel of classic games in the Sonic franchise, an expansive world to race through and explore or the multiple and new ways to play, Sonic Unleashed offers something for players of any age or level of ability.
  • 2-4 players racing simultaneously.
  • Choice of playing with:
    • Friends only (players registered as Friends)
    • Rivals (players with similar skills)
    • Recent opponents
    • Regional racers (players in their country)
    • World racers (players anywhere in the world)
  • No limit on course choice, but each player votes for a course and the course with the most votes wins (in case of a tie, the course is chosen randomly)
  • No limit on character choice
  • Players can create and use personalized player icons
Connecting to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection will be quick, easy and seamless. Players can go to an official Nintendo hotspot and immediately go online and start playing. To use their home Wi-Fi routers, players first must configure the DS to connect to their routers by entering the router's network ID and optional security key or install the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector on their PC and configure the DS to enable it to share the PC's broadband connection. After that, players can go online anytime without further configuration. Best game on the DS?
Mario Kart DS is pretty much the best DS game in the series, in terms of gameplay, content, graphics, and fun.

If you've played any past Mario Kart games, then you kind of know what to expect, but this game brings in all the glory of the older titles, and puts a whole new shine on it, as well as adding great new features.

There's tons of tracks, tons of karts to choose and unlock. We're talking hours and hours and hours of racing and unlocking.

There's also new weapons, like being able to turn into a Bullet Bill and shoot down the track knocking your foes right out of the way. There's also a squid power this time around that shoots black ink on your foes screen, blocking out their version for a short period of time.

All the old classic moves are back as well, like banana skins, red and green shells, etc etc. Great fun!

For the first time ever in a Mario Kart game, now you can go ONLINE and compete against players from all over the world with a wifi connection, OR get this...if you have the game, but your friends dont, up to 8 people locally can play the game using only ONE game pack!

Bottom line, if you're new to Mario Kart, or a veteran of the series, there's simply SOO much to love about this beautiful and amazingly fun game.

10/10

Mario Kart DS
My son is loving this game. It's become his favorite and seems to have many different choices from characters to courses which make for great neverending fun.

nice game
It is a fun game, but the shipping was bad. It took a long time, but eventually it came. It is fun to play.

Perfect!
I got this game for my nephew and I guess he likes it a lot!. Thankyou for the fast service, it was great!

Fun Excitment
This game is fun and exciting but like all portable mario kart games it is just fun for playing on the go. I have most of the mario karts but played all. It is really fun at first but as soon as u beat it or got as far as u can it is not as fun. The graphics r good for the karts but the background is blocky. It has a more fun multiplayer then the GB version but the other players r the same cherecter each time and they do not get to choose. Overall this game is great for travel all the time and has pretty good graphics. It can be very hard to unlock the extra cherecters and karts and there is no cheats.

Fun
I am an 8 year old girl. I really like this game. I can play it every day and never get bored of it. It's a lot of fun and always challenging. It's my favorite game.

THE BEST GAME ON THE DS
This is the best game on the ds. Period. The 3D maps and the 2D gameplay make an excellent match. Tons of enemies are in there, too. Here's a cheat to get Luigi as a playable character. While you are selecting a file, hold down R and L. Then you can play as Luigi. I hope this helps.

Love Mario !!
I loved playing the old Mario Brothers games on my old sysytems and now this is like playing them again only better because I can play where ever I am.

Love This Game
This is the best game on the DS that I have ever played! So many new levels and worlds to unlock will keep you busy all day long. It's a load of fun and I can never stop playing it! My sister and I used to fight over it because we loved it SO much!

Mario- reborn
This brings back so many memories to older mario games I played as a kid. With the same classical game setting along with the goal to rescue princess peach from bowser and bowser jr. ,this game provides hours of addictive gameplay. New power-ups and movements add to the elements from past mario games. You will not be dissappointed if you buy this, and it is sure to keep you thoroughly entertained.

YAY! MCF is now on DS
This game is really fun to play and is a great addition to the MCF family. The only complaint I would have is that it seemed to be a little dummied down for the DS, the puzzles seemed much easier than the PC puzzles for other MCF games and the game seemed to end abruptly. I was expecting a little more at the final puzzle and maybe some unlockables. Don't get me wrong, this is still challenging and fun to play. If you are reading these reviews and thinking that it is a kids game and therefore not sure if you want to play it, let me assure you that this game is very much for any age, there seems to be some snobs who think that it is only for "kids". This is not the case and comparing it to I spay and Where's Waldo is insulting to the adults who like these games. You don't have to solve the hardest RPG or strategy game to have fun. This is entertaining and relaxing fun. So if you like seek and find and puzzles, buy it, you'll enjoy it.

Game is good, but too tiny for DS
I had played the PC version of this game many times and loved it - the DS version is pretty much the same but the picture is SO incredibly tiny that it can be very difficult to find some of the things in the game.

The strain on my eyes became a little over-whelming after only playing the game for a short time - I think I'll stick to the PC version for this particular game.

Fun and Easy
this game is pretty great. If you like hidden object games this is the game for you. I haven't used the multi player feature yet but can't wait til I do. I already beat the rookie level and have movied on to detective mode.

Nice
I liked the game
I played it before on the PC but liked here on the DS as well
it was different

A slightly souped up I Spy game
I found this game to be entertaining when I needed to just pass a little time but not the kind of game that keeps you wanting to go back quickly.
It was a fairly simple game of find the hidden objects. There are a variety of scenes and items to locate. There are some fun ways to look for them by using an xray and underwater goggles as well as interacting with the object to make it fit the item description (like "cut the pie" in which you use the stylus to draw through the picture of the pie). There did not seem to be an increase in difficulty. There is not a time element so you can hunt all you want. You can also click as many times on the screen without penalty.
The back story about the Million Heir was really weak and didn't really add to the puzzles. Towards the end when you are looking for DNA evidence, there is a little game that you have to complete before moving on. It never really got harder and was very simple in nature.
The only time I had a lot of fun was when my kids were looking over my shoulder for items.
Some kids may like this but I don't think it is much of a challenge for most.
